Cancellation Policy

We understand that you may need
to change your appointment …
Matthew Ebden Consulting requests clients who are unable to attend an appointment to notify Matthew Ebden Consulting of their inability to attend an appointment by telephone or email.
Our policy is that a "no-show" by a Participant, their Nominee or any essential carer or support worker is considered a cancellation.
NDIS participants:
A minimum of 7 clear day’s notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment.

In line with the NDIS Price Guide, if a participant makes a short-notice cancellation, which is 7 clear days before the appointment, Matthew Ebden Consulting will invoice and/or claim for the time allocated for the appointment and any related expenses that have been incurred.
Private clients:
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment.
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment with less than 24 business hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the appointment cost, that is to be settled within the Matthew Ebden Consulting invoice terms (payment to be made within fourteen (14) days from date of Invoice).
In fairness to other clients, we may decline to set an appointment or cancel future appointments if:
-
Your account is substantially overdue
-
Invoices for prior cancellations have not been paid
-
There is a substantial history of missed or cancelled appointments
